The Milan-based Buccellati family opened their jewelery and silversmith business in 1750, and through the 19th century Buccellati boutiques opened throughout Italy and the United States. By the 20th century, royals and even the Holy See were the clients of Buccellati, and Mario Buccellati became know ast he “Prince of Goldsmiths” for creating exquisite patterns and engravings gold and silver pieces.
Today Buccellati watches, jewelery and silver works are considered works of art but cherished family heirlooms that are passed down throughout generations.
