Breguet and the Concours de Genève: End of 2014 Season
This year, for the 13th consecutive year, Breguet has remained a major partner of the prestigious institution, Concours de Geneve. The 69th edition ended on a high note with two featured disciplines of the new competition were Flute and the Piano.
Adriana Ferreira (25 years old from Portugal) performed a Flute final and was awarded the Breguet “Coup de Coeur” prize for her interpretation of the concerto by Andre Jolivet. This highly coveted award contributes to the artists successful and propserous international career and is accompanied by an orchestra, and an individual portrait of the artist.
Ji-Yeong Mun (18 years old from South Korea) performed the piano final and was awarded with the first prize. A young prodigy of the piano, Ji-Yeong Mun’s performance unanimously won over the votes of the competition’s jury. Her exceptional rendition earned her a prestigious Breguet timepiece, the brand’s iconic Reine de Naples.
