Breitling Cockpit B50 46mm
Breitling has finally revealed details about its Cockpit B50 46mm timepiece. A modern, and sleek representation of the ultimate pilot’s instrument, the electronic Cockpit B50 chronograph comes in a titanium case that is equipped with an analog and digital display, and SuperQuartz movement that was specifically developed for aviation by Breitling. A very ostensible timepiece to say the least, it has an ultra readable display that can be a wonderful companion to all missions, and an electronic tachmometer and a “chrono flight” device to record flight times while memorizing departure and arrival times as well as the date.
The sturdy and light case that comes in natural or black carbon coated titanium is similar to a swiss army knife. it features a chronograph with split time and fly back capabilities, second timezone display, perpetual calendar, two alarms with a buzzer and or vibration mode, a lap timer function and a countdown complete with alarm. Users will have superlative clarity due to its built in “tilt” function which automatically activates the back lighting when the user bends his wrist by more than 35°.
To facilitate the user’s experience in handling the timepieces multiple functions, the Cockpit B50 is equipped with a simple and logical control system. A functions election is found through the crown rotation and activation/deactivation by two push pieces.
Breitling has innovated the product further by creating a miniature rechargeable battery system. Recharging of the timepiece can be completed through the electricity grid and or through a USB port on the computer.
