Diamond Imaging 360 Technology
Segoma Imaging Technologies will be presenting and launching its newest innovation, its next generation of diamond 360 imaging technology. This wonderful technology enables diamond traders, and buyers to view any diamond in 360 degrees.
The technology removes the physical barriers, such as the need to evaluate diamonds in person, which saves numerous shipping hours, and unnecessary travel time around the world.
Images are completely authentic and they do not undergo any processing, manipulation and or aesthetic enhancements.
The success of the new technology speaks for its self. At the beginning of this year, 2.5 million potential buyers viewed roughly 100,000 Segoma images, which has resulted in millions of dollars in revenue. Also, Segoma distinctly recalls a customer that managed to sell a $2.8 million stone on the basis of Segoma image alone, without a physical examination prior to the purchase.
Segoma’s photography centers are located at the world’s main diamond bourses, Mumbai, New York and Ramat Gan. This allows diamond dealers to have the flexibility to send diamonds directly and receive them back the next business day.
“Our first generation of diamond scanners were built to document reality and ensure accuracy, transparency and security. Our next generation of automatic diamond scanners give the ability to see a diamond from all sides while allowing to see the exact shape color clarity and cut of a diamond in a way which was never before possible, even better than our first generation,” says Litan Yahav, CEO of Segoma.
“Gone are the days of sending physical diamonds to prospective buyers. It costs too much, the risk is too high, and there is a more efficient way. Our diamond scanners now enable the capturing of diamonds in all their magnificence – at the highest possible resolution – to make inspecting a diamond easy and a pleasure.”
