GIA Nominated As Ethical Company
Recently, GIA has been named one of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies” by the Ethisphere Institute. This title symbolizes a high level of trust between customers employees, investors, and regulators. This exclusive community is committed to driving performance through leading business practices.
The Ethisphere Institute is an independent research group dedicated to promoting best practices in business ethics, corporate social responsibility, anti-corruption, and sustainability.
The requirements to be included in the annual list of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies”, organizations are required to demonstrate an active role in promoting ethical business practices. This includes activity within legal compliance standards, and those that exceed expectations of legal compliance standards.
The information that is collected doesn’t cover all aspects of the traditional standards of corporate governance, risk, sustainability, etc, but rather it is a comprehensive sampling of definitive criteria of core competencies. This was determined and refined by expert advice and insights gleaned from Ethisphere’s network of thought leaders and the World’s Most Ethical Companies Methodology Advisory Panel.
This year’s 144 honorees represent 41 industries and include 21 first-time honorees. In this eighth year of recognizing companies, Ethisphere is honoring the largest group of organizations based outside the U.S. – 38 organizations from 21 countries and 5 continents.
