OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean Ceragold

Omega premiered its innovative new timepiece with its newfangled product, the Ceragold. The incrustation of 18k gold into zirconium based ceramic bezels, which results in a blended material that is aesthetically stunning, and smooth to the touch.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph Ceragold comes in a 45.5m 18k red gold case. The most compelling design element is its polished black zirconium based ceramic bezel ring, which offers a dramatic contrast to the 18k gold diving scale.

The lacquered black dial presents both the 60 minute and 12 hour counters on the same sub dial found at the 3 o’clock position. Reading the elapsed chronograph time is simple, and intuitive. Additionally, there is a small seconds sub-dial found at 9 o’clock.

The timepiece also holds the Omega Co-Axial calibre 9301 movement, which was the first chronograph in the brand’s proprietary family of Co-Axial movements.

Similarto all of the watches found in the Planet Ocean collection, these timepieces are equipped with professional dive features, which includes a unidirectional rotating bezel and helium escape valve. The watch indexes are coated with a white Super-LumiNova that emits a blue light as are the polished facetted red gold plated hands. The minute hand emits a green light, as well as the dot on the diving bezel. This wonderful features makes it easy for divers to view time without obstructions. Divers will also be happy to know that this haute timepiece is water resistant up to 60 bar (2,000 feet).
