Parronchi

In the late ‘50s, Vittorio Parronchi had a vision that ultimately led him on a journey to create sartorial masterpieces using one of the most precious fibers available, cashmere.

Parronchi is originally from Tuscany, but was raised in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy. Today, flanked by his children, he is still at his company’s helm, and looks toward the future with the same drive and energy that distinguished him from the beginning. Back in 1956, he clearly understood the power of the small artisanal shops that were scattered throughout the local landscape. Learning a great deal from observing them, he decided to start his own collection of menswear. It was the beginning of a long series of marketing successes.

Parronchi dedicated himself to wholesale distribution, attended the most important trade fairs, such as the emerging Pitti Uomo, and decided to take his brand internationally, thus creating Pierre Paul, srl. in 1969.
The period spanning the ‘70s through the ‘90s was pivotal for the company, which underwent many changes and innovations, like the creation of a women’s line, and the licensing of new brands, among which we find “Lella & Nelson”, an innovative knitting line distributed worldwide.

At the beginning of the new millennium, Parronchi Cashmere took form. It was the beginning of a new era for the company, where the main focus still continued to be cashmere, the most precious of fibers. It is then that the sisters, Antonella and Annalisa Parronchi, entered the company full force, strengthening the concept of the “Family Farm”. They understood the fashion industry trends very well, but never lost track of the importance of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and of the use of the most valuable and natural materials available. Their new stunning creations are unmistakably Made in Italy.

Today, Parronchi Cashmere not only represents excellence in knitwear, modern style, and unmatched service, but is also testimony to the longstanding tradition of Italian craftsmanship.
